In the future, we hope to continue educating and networking  with writers and provide them with a well established writers’ group.

HWG would like to facilitate a scholarship fund for up-and-coming writer’s, so they can pursue their goals.

Henderson Writers’ Group (HWG) is a 501-C3 nonprofit organization with resources devoted to education, helping writers of all ages develop their craft, and supporting the local writing community by hosting weekly meetings and our annual writer’s conference.  Our mission is to provide a networking and critiquing forum for writers at all skill levels.

The Henderson Writers’ Group, established in 2001, helps aspiring writers who desire to see their work published.  In 2003, the group hosted the first of their annual writers conferences bringing top agents and publishers from across the country to meet Nevada writers.

The goal of HWG, now averaging over one hundred members, is to help each and every writer reach the goal they have set for themselves whether or not they belong to our critiquing group.

HWG Anthologies

Every other year the HWG selects the best short stories, poetry, and novel excepts to showcase it’s members talents in an anthology. These books can be purchased through our website, Amazon.com, Mystic Publishers, and at HWG meetings
